That stability shows up most clearly at the sealed level. Every main set released after Fabled now sits at or above roughly $200 per booster box on TCGplayer: Whispers in the Well at $241.18, Winterspell at $259.34, Wilds Unknown at $230.97, and Attack of the Vine! right at the line at $194.71. (Fabled itself is in a different tier entirely, at $822.47 a box.) The reason is no mystery. The Iconic rarity, which sits above Enchanted, has given Lorcana the true top-end chase the game was missing, and those cards are pulling box prices up with them.
Each of the four post-Fabled sets has its own identity at the top. Whispers in the Well is led by Ariel, Ethereal Voice at $1,482.58 and Hades, Looking for a Deal at $1,066.67, with the Enchanted Spooky Sight close behind at $724.57. Winterspell's Iconics, Moana, Curious Explorer ($1,244.62) and Pocahontas, Peacekeeper ($1,059.36), are backed by an unusually deep Enchanted run headed by Elsa, Ice Artisan at $714.00. Wilds Unknown is the most top-heavy of the group: Buzz Lightyear, Jungle Ranger is the single most valuable card across all four sets at $3,621.08, with Merida, Formidable Archer at $1,687.20. Attack of the Vine! leaned into dual-character cards, and collectors responded, pushing Belle & Beast, Certain as the Sun to $1,953.35, Lilo & Stitch, Fun-Loving Friends to $1,629.34, and the Enchanted Winnie the Pooh & Piglet, Hunny Mages to $764.69.
Looking at those chases, the box prices are justified. The combined market value of the top ten cards in each set runs between 20 and 31 times the price of a booster box: $5,002.56 for Whispers in the Well, $5,260.59 for Winterspell, $6,521.91 for Wilds Unknown and $5,961.10 for Attack of the Vine!. Zoom out to the broader TCG market, where four-figure chase cards have become an expected feature of a healthy modern set, and a $200 to $260 box backed by multiple $1,000-plus Iconics looks rational rather than inflated.
If you're worried about Ravensburger doing reprints, though, you have every right to be. These sets are still fairly new, spanning November 2025 through July 2026, and all of them sit well within the window where additional print runs are possible. A reprint does not change pull rates, so a single Iconic stays just as hard to open, but more boxes in circulation means more copies of every chase reaching the market and more sealed supply competing for the same buyers. Anyone paying $200 or more today is taking on that risk alongside the upside.
If you want exposure to the Lorcana TCG but don't want to spend $200-plus on a box, we'd suggest taking a closer look at Reign of Jafar, currently around $155 a booster box ($154.69 market). Released in May 2025, it is the last main set before Fabled, and while it contains no Iconic-rarity cards, it carries strong Enchanteds and a genuinely good spread of value through the set. Stitch, Experiment 626 leads at $471.98, followed by It Means No Worries at $356.08, Into the Unknown at $330.16, Rapunzel, High Climber at $306.72, and Bambi, Little Prince at $237.69.
The chase comparison tells the story. Reign of Jafar's top card is $471.98 against $1,244.62 to $3,621.08 for the four post-Fabled sets; its top five total $1,702.63 against $3,970.97 to $6,037.25; and its top ten total $2,462.99, or 15.9 times the box price. On raw ceilings the newer sets win, and they should, since Iconics are the reason they cost more. But strip the Iconics out and compare Enchanted-to-Enchanted, and Reign of Jafar's top ten returns more value per box dollar than any post-Fabled set: 15.9x, versus 13.4x for Attack of the Vine!, 13.0x for Winterspell, 11.3x for Whispers in the Well and just 5.9x for Wilds Unknown.
Concentration matters too. Buzz Lightyear alone accounts for 56 percent of Wilds Unknown's top-ten value, while Stitch represents only 19 percent of Reign of Jafar's, meaning the set's value doesn't hinge on one pull.
The artwork is where you can see Lorcana pushing harder, and the market is rewarding it. Two of Reign of Jafar's three most valuable cards are not characters at all but song and action Enchanteds, It Means No Worries and Into the Unknown, which shows collectors paying for full illustrated scenes rather than just character portraits. That push has continued into the newer sets, from Winterspell's Enchanted songs like The Cold Never Bothered Me and Colors of the Wind, each holding above $220, to Attack of the Vine!'s two-character Enchanteds, which turn single portraits into staged moments.
The First Chapter is left out of this comparison because it's an outlier: its booster box sits at $472.37, carrying the first-set premium that every debut TCG set enjoys. Among the rest of the pre-Fabled sets, Reign of Jafar provides the best overall value. Its top-ten-to-box ratio of 15.9x beats Archazia's Island (12.5x on a $142.23 box), Shimmering Skies (8.6x at $141.28), Ursula's Return (7.4x at $128.22) and Azurite Sea (7.3x at $116.51), and its $471.98 top chase outpaces Archazia's Island's Mickey Mouse, Inspirational Warrior at $379.81. For anyone looking to get their feet wet in Lorcana, it is the most efficient way in: a sub-$160 box with a deep Enchanted lineup, no Iconic lottery inflating the price, and a set old enough that reprint risk is far less of a factor than it is for anything released in the last year.
